Yes, The Birdlady of Easton is a real person, aka Mel Seip, who lives in Easton, PA.  For many years she has had her own birds and prior to August 2006 had worked at a local bird store.  Neighbors, friends and family began calling her The Birdlady and the moniker has stuck.

 

From the beginning her goal has been to provide quality bird supplies, including ABBA, Island Treat, Kings Cages with personal service.
